My Mother

                                            My Friend

                                Nothing on earth

                            can make life more worthwhile

                        than a true loyal friend like a Mother

                            and the warmth of her smile.

                            Nothing else can quite compare

                                to the happiness we find

                            in the comfort of her friendship

                           that's the warm and lasting kind.

                               For just like a sunbeam

                            makes cloudy days brighter

                                the smile of a mother

                           makes a heavy heart lighter.
